Abundance & Growth Fund

Living literature reviews

Supports scholars to build and maintain “living literature reviews” — continuously updated collections of articles that synthesize research on a single topic. We’re especially interested in topics related to policymaking.

Effective Giving & Careers

Request for proposals: Effective Giving

Supports organizations that raise funds for highly effective charities, including donation platforms, donor advisory services, pledging organizations, and groups using matching or awareness campaigns to channel donations toward high-impact opportunities.

Farm Animal Welfare Fund

Request for proposals: Humane Fish Slaughter Research/Prototypes

Supports work to develop technologies and prototypes that materially improve the welfare of fish at capture and slaughter.

Supports people at any career stage who want to pursue careers focused on reducing global catastrophic risks. Many different activities are covered, including graduate study, professional training, and self-study.

Navigating Transformative AI Fund

Funding for capacity-building on risks from transformative AI

Supports work focused on addressing risks from transformative AI through “capacity-building” (e.g. supporting professional networks, helping new people find work in the field, or contributing to public discourse).

Science and Global Health R&D Fund

Most of the time, we proactively reach out to potential grantees to shape funding proposals together, but we also read unsolicited proposals submitted through this form. We receive a large volume of inquiries and will only be able to respond to those that may be a good fit for our programmatic goals.

We welcome expressions of interest for projects addressing Strep A and rheumatic heart disease (RHD), especially opportunities in vaccine development. We receive a large volume of inquiries and will only be able to respond to those that may be a good fit for our programmatic goals.

If your project isn’t a good fit for these programs but aligns with one of our funds, you can contact us to ask about funding. However, we rarely fund unsolicited proposals, and we may not respond to all inquiries.
