Shakeel joined Coefficient Giving in April 2026. Before joining, he spent several years in management consulting and local government, helping public-sector organizations build systems and processes to better use their resources. He has a longstanding interest in how charitable giving can be directed more effectively, and has worked on projects exploring this in both international development and Muslim philanthropic contexts. Shakeel holds an MSc in Development Studies from the London School of Economics.
