About the Fund
We aim to support the most promising projects we find.
Though the bulk of our giving in global health and development is centered around GiveWell recommendations, learning and experimentation, and scientific research, we occasionally support promising opportunities that fall outside of those areas. This includes policy advocacy, GiveWell’s operations, and some programs that do not fit clearly into our other thematic areas. It is possible some of these miscellaneous grants will grow into their own thematic areas over time.
