Derek Hopf
Managing Director, Operations
Derek leads Coefficient Giving’s Operations team, which ensures the organization runs as smoothly and effectively as possible.
Prior to this role, he served as Coefficient Giving’s director of grants management, overseeing grantmaking logistics, including financial and legal operations. He’s been with Coefficient since July 2017.
Before joining Coefficient, Derek spent six years in a variety of roles at Reasoning Mind, an education nonprofit that developed digital math programs based on international pedagogy and best practices. He holds a B.A. in media from Indiana University.
