Partner With Us

Coefficient Giving partners with philanthropists who want to maximize their impact. We offer tailored, pro bono services to donors pursuing high-impact giving at scale, leveraging our global team of experts to answer key questions about where and how to give. 

Our researchers and grantmakers have directed over $4 billion in grants since 2014, across causes ranging from global health to the safe development of advanced technologies. We use a highly analytical approach, focused on maximizing cost-effectiveness to help others as much as possible. 

In recent years, we’ve grown from primarily advising one philanthropic partner, Good Ventures, to supporting multiple major donors. We adapt our approach to the needs of each philanthropist we work with — you can find examples below.   • We can help you amplify the impact of your philanthropy by joining forces with like-minded donors. Our pooled funds offer focused opportunities to act — at great scale — on issues that are unusually important, neglected, and tractable. We recently launched two $120 million initiatives: the Lead Exposure Action Fund, aimed at accelerating progress toward a world free of lead exposure, and the Abundance and Growth Fund, which seeks to boost economic growth and technological progress in the United States while reducing unnecessary obstacles to prosperity.

  • We spend thousands of hours each year assessing grant opportunities across a wide range of issues — including areas where we have no active funds — to identify those with the strongest potential for impact. Over the past decade, our cause prioritization researchers have examined hundreds of cause areas, and our program officers have investigated thousands of grant opportunities across our established areas of expertise. This work enables us to build tailored, high-impact portfolios on a pro bono basis for our philanthropic partners.

    We can curate grant menus — either issue-specific or cross-cutting — aligned with your interests, or partner to investigate an area we both consider promising. We provide actionable slates of grants on your preferred cadence and can offer ongoing evaluation and support for the grants you select.

  • Choosing where to focus your giving can be daunting, especially in areas that require in-depth contextual knowledge. We offer customized learning journeys to help philanthropists thoughtfully choose causes. These journeys have ranged from curated reading lists to months-long engagements with recurring in-person sessions and input from leading outside experts.
