Managing Director, Short Timelines Special Projects
Claire leads Coefficient Giving’s AI Short Timelines Special Projects team. The team researches, identifies, and implements new initiatives that she thinks will be especially helpful if transformative AI is developed soon. She previously ran the Global Catastrophic Risks Capacity Building team (2018–2024) and oversaw the Biosecurity and Pandemic Preparedness team (2018–2019 and 2023–2024). Before joining Coefficient Giving, Claire was a Research Analyst at GiveWell. She has a B.S. and M.S. in Earth Systems from Stanford University.
