Naina leads Coefficient Giving’s Communications team, which helps to amplify the organization’s research and grantmaking. She oversees all communications work, including reputation and risk management, media relations, editorial content, and internal communications.
Naina joined Coefficient in July 2024 after a decade in journalism. She began her career as a reporter in TIME Magazine’s London bureau, and after editing roles at Newsweek, Magnum Photos and the Fuller Project, she returned to TIME in 2018. Over the next six years, she held several leadership positions, including International Editor and Executive Editor. At TIME, she edited more than 30 cover stories, launched special projects including Women of the Year and TIME100 AI, and interviewed world leaders, CEOs, and activists. Naina was part of a team that won an Emmy in 2020.
Naina holds a B.A. in English Literature and Modern Languages from the University of Oxford.
